Ballroom Dance For Kids
Looking for a new way for your kids to get some exercise this summer while having lots of fun? Ballroom Dancing is more popular today than it has been for generations especially with young people. In today’s high tech world Ballroom Dancing provides the all important social interaction which demands respect and teamwork. this is not an old fashioned stuffy ballroom dance class. We will be teaching to contemporary music that kids can relate to, and the classes will be packed full of energy and fun. Dances will include: Swing, Salsa, Tango, Waltz, and more! Ballroom has the following benefits for kids: Increased confidence, not only within themselves but interacting with each other in respectful ways. Opportunity to build rapport with others in the class because its face to face. Develops an appreciation for collaborative and complementary effort. Having a skill for life that comes in handy for social occasions. Ballroom Dancing lasts for a lifetime! There is no back row... everyone is included. Kids will learn coordination while having great exercise and fun. Sign up for both sessions as different steps will be taught in each.
